Our warm hospitality will welcome you as you enter the spacious, timber-frame lobby. Throughout the Inn the beautiful fireplace, atriums with live plants, comfortable furniture, natural wood timbers and hand-forged lamps and railings set the casual, friendly tone. The indoor pool with waterfall, hot tub, game & exercise rooms adjacent to the “Great Oak Tree” provide even more options for a memorable get-away! We’ve included all the amenities of a large hotel with the ambiance of a country inn to offer you the ideal place to stay in northwest Ohio. We look forward to having you as our guest.

The Sauder Heritage Inn is open year round with room rates from just $110.00 per night. Weekday rates, AAA, Senior and Military Discounts and many packages are available. We offer a unique destination for family vacations, retreats, classes, group tours and conferences. Group rates are available.

• 98 guest rooms. . . a combination of queen/queen, king rooms, and suites. All rooms have a small refrigerator and some rooms also have a small recliner or couch. Free, high-speed internet access is available in all guest rooms.
   
• Indoor pool with waterfall and a hot tub. The pool area has a very natural look with soft rock features, seating around the edge of the pool and a waterfall that creates a fun and relaxing ambiance. ** The pool will be closed April 19-22, 2010 for scheduled maintenance.**
  
• “Great Oak Tree” . . . A focal point of the Inn Expansion is the 25 foot tall “Great Oak Tree” with a 35 foot canopy and a trunk 4 feet in diameter. This replica tree was built in Carlsbad, California by NatureMaker, originator of the “steel art tree”. The area around the “Great Oak Tree” is an ideal gathering place for guests of all ages to visit, relax, play a game or read a good book. The tables under the tree will allow this comfortable space to also be used for breakfast each morning.
   
• Game & Exercise Rooms...  Adjacent to the indoor pool, the Game Room features family-friendly games such as ping-pong, air hockey, basketball and more . . . all for free! Our Exercise Room features a wide variety of fitness equipment in a unique setting overlooking the "Great Oak Tree".

• Free Upscale Continental Breakfast...  Enjoy a bountiful continental breakfast including rolls, muffins, bagels and cookies from our own Doughbox Bakery. With fruit, cereal, oatmeal, juices and coffee also available, breakfast under the "Great Oak Tree" is a great way to start your day.
   
• Gathering Spaces...  From the fireplace in the timber-frame lobby to the mezzanine overlooking the "Great Oak Tree". . .  there are plenty of places throughout the Inn to gather with friends or relax with a good book.

• Business Center...  With a phone, computer and all-in-one machine, guests can use this center to send faxes, check e-mail, print documents, make copies and more. And it’s free!

New Playground!
Thanks to private donations and funding from a NatureWorks grant through the Archbold Parks & Rec Department, a new playground has become a reality for Sauder Village. The new play structure is between the Campground and the Heritage Inn. The playground is available for Sauder Village guests and also open to the public.
